With the 910 SRS model, we have created a particularly aesthetic watch that is also distinguished by true watchmaking finesse. The stop function is also equipped with an SRS chronograph circuit (Stop-Reset-Start = flyback) which simultaneously stops a measurement in progress, resets the hand to zero and starts a new measurement when the pusher at 4 o'clock is pressed. The stop-seconds hand is reset to zero by pressing the pusher once and a new measurement is immediately started. This provides a measurement accurate to the second of consecutive time intervals. This function is traditionally called "Flyback", literally "flying reset".
On this watch, time stands still thanks to a traditional column-wheel chronograph. This column-wheel chronograph is an ambitious, handcrafted compilation whose tradition dates back to the mid-19th century. At that time, the column wheel was the most important part of traditional chronographs.
Such a compilation requires a lot of work, and assembly requires both precision and extreme care. The column wheel controls both the start, stop, and return functions, and is subject to high demands. The greatest possible wear resistance is required to maintain, for example, the smooth operation of pushers.
Raised bar indexes and brilliant chamfers on the numeral circles, in perfect harmony with the polished crystal, underline the high aesthetic value of this instrument. In addition, the 910 SRS features a refined mechanism that can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back.
