Alongside the three time zones that can be read simultaneously, the black dials are another special feature of the Frankfurt Financial Center World Time watches. The blank dial is first classically satin-finished and decorated with a sunburst pattern, then galvanized and blackened. This results in a deep, silky matte shine that retains its intense black hue far longer than any other paint and perfectly highlights the decorative rhodium plating. The special white paint, which remains illuminated for a very long time, is applied separately to each of the hands. The watch mechanisms are refined with Côtes de Genève, and blue-tinted screws will delight all connoisseurs. As for the bear and bull (traditional symbols of the stock exchange), finely engraved on the rotor, they leave no doubt as to the object's origin: Frankfurt am Main.
